I help anxious humans find peace from the bully in their mind.

My name is Allison and I am a Licensed Therapist who specializes in anxiety.

It is a misconception that the only people who suffer from anxiety have panic attacks or are barely functioning.

The truth is that many successful people have anxiety.  In fact, their anxiety may even be part of the reason they are successful in the first place.

Individuals with high functioning anxiety often are the ones that work late, come in early, answer emails off hours, are the "yes" people to all projects, are team players and hustlers.

They may appear put-together, hard-working and goal oriented.  But inside they are suffering from self-doubt, poor self-esteem and Imposter Syndrome.

They may have poor boundaries or have trouble asserting for their own needs.

Is this you?

 Young Woman Contemplating

You find yourself saying yes to things, not because you want to do them, but because you feel obligated.

You have trouble saying no to invitations even if your calendar is already full.

You are always the one volunteering to host the playdate, drive the kids to the mall, chaperone the field trip.

You are your family's housekeeper, bookkeeper and planner.

You not only help set-up but help clean-up at all your friends and/or work events.

You feel pangs of dread when you get a text because leaving it unread makes you cringe, even if it is inconvenient.

You are successful and yet you still feel lost.

You feel you need to constantly assert your worth by working harder than the other people around you.

You have grown completely accustom to picking up other people's slack even when you are overwhelmed with your own responsibilities.

You have trouble turning your mind off at night, thinking of all the things you have to do.

You have racing thoughts.

You feel exhausted from constantly planning.

You feel like nothing you ever do is good enough.

You work hard, and then even harder, in all matters of your life from your career, to keeping your house tidy, to making sure you have the best cookies at the school bake sale.

Ditch doubt. Gain confidence.

The good news is there is another way.

Even the most anxious over-achievers can learn to slow down, make peace with their doubts and reconnect to true confidence and empowerment.

Anxiety is fully treatable, even the pesky high functioning kind.

Hustle with intention.

Fall Heart.jpg

If anxiety is forcing you to work harder than you want to, if it is telling your productivity defines your worth or that you are anything but the divine goddess that you are, it is time to steal away it's mic and kick it to the curb.

The energy you put into your life, your work, your family responsibilities should be cultivated from authentic drive, not because of obligation, poor self-worth or ruminating anxiety.

Learn to hustle from a place of clarity, passion and deep, honest commitment rather from guilt, shame and feelings of not being enough.

Don't let anxiety get in the way of being unstoppable.

Even if you are well versed in mindfulness and meditation, we are going to double down on integrating coping skills into your life that train your brain to find peace rather than criticism.

We will identify triggers and discover the old, dusty narratives that are holding you back and replace them with ones that honor your personal greatness and highest potential.

You will leave therapy feeling like the rockstar that you are meant to me and live a life that is powered by mindfulness and intention rather than by guilt and pressure.

Two Models of Anxiety Treatment

1

WEEKLY SESSIONS

Weekly sessions are appropriate for the client who is looking for continual support, wants to not only address deeper root systems and causes of anxiety, but is also looking for a safe space to process daily life stressors.  This client may know that there are things in their life that aren't working but needs guidance to reflect, identify and heal.

Therapy is the ultimate self-care and this client is committed to regularly creating that space for themselves.

(Note: availability for weekly sessions may be limited)

2

THERAPY INTENSIVES

Therapy intensives are designed for clients that have limited availability, are looking for quick action and fast results in addressing a primary issue.  Think of it as way to get a few months of therapy in just a few sessions.  therapy intensives may involve techniques not offered in weekly therapy such as emdr, visualizations, and in-session somatic processing, so it may be perfect for the client who feels they have not gotten the results they desired in traditional therapy.

Please note: Weekly therapy is currently full.
